Estudo de mecanismos e mediadores que participam do controle da temperatura corporal e da resposta febril, com foco na comunica\u00e7\u00e3o entre o sistema imune e sistema nervoso central. Avalia\u00e7\u00e3o das poss\u00edveis diferen\u00e7as relacionadas ao sexo relacionadas a este fen\u00f4meno\u00a0e a outros fen\u00f4menos\u00a0associados como a hiperalgesia. Estudo dos mecanismos centrais envolvidos em diversos aspectos relacionados a sepse. Estudo de mecanismos e mediadores que participam das dores craniofaciais atrav\u00e9s de modelos animais de dor trigeminal neurop\u00e1tica, inflamat\u00f3ria e associada \u00e0 migr\u00e2nea.
